Mission
The mission of the Ben and Martin Jabenis Memorial Endowment Fund is to honor the legacy of Ben and Martin Jabenis by providing educational opportunities to Jewish students who demonstrate financial need. Through this fund, the values of compassion, courage, and care for others — exemplified by Ben and Martin — will continue to impact future generations.
Purpose
The Ben and Martin Jabenis Memorial Endowment Fund was established through the generosity of the late Larry and Sandie Jabenis in memory of their sons, Ben and Martin, who lived bravely with Familial Dysautonomia. The purpose of the fund is to provide need-based scholarships to Jewish students attending Johnson County Community College (JCCC) and Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy (HBHA). By supporting students in their academic pursuits, the fund seeks to remove financial barriers and enable recipients to benefit from the outstanding educational opportunities at both institutions.
Criteria of Scholarship:

- Preference is given to full-time JCCC students; however, part-time students and College Now participants will also be considered.
